STYLE GURU STYLE: Popping Into Spring With Color

With all this crazy weather, it is finally warm enough for a spring outfit! I’m sure you are all just as excited about spring break as I am! When spring comes around, my favorite thing to wear is basically anything with bright colors. My favorite piece in this outfit is my kimono cardigan that is from Forever 21. Kimono actually means “thing to wear,” and it is made of a light breathable fabric perfect for the warmer weather.

A large current trend I really enjoy is graphic T-shirts! If you take a look at runway shows for 2017, this is featured a lot, and it was inspired by current politics. It was shown by designers such as Sacai, Christian Dior, Jeremy Scott, Michael Kors, and many more. Fortunately, I was able to hop on this trend with my tank top that says “Fluent in Fashion!” Mine is from Abercrombie & Fitch, although since the trend is so popular, you can find one at many stores. This tank top is perfect to pair with a cute bralette.

For my pants, I decided to keep it neutral with a pair of tan pants from Zara that are slightly cropped with some fraying detail at the ankles. My Nike sneakers made this outfit comfortable and were definitely the best choice for walking around my campus all day. As for accessories, I chose to wear a baby pink choker from Brandy Melville to add a pop of color along with two bracelets that are very simple.
