One color combo that never seems to go out of style is white and navy blue. The color white can definitely be worn all year, but now that summer is here, the more white, the better! Summertime is upon us, which means days at the beach and barbecues with friends and family.
The Dolce&Gabbana spring 2016 ready-to-wear collection was an instant inspiration. The bright colors, variation of prints and overall essence of Italian fashion captured my Fashionista eye. The bright colors and prints in the line balanced out nicely with the use of blacks and whites. Frame Denim’s laid-back spring 2016 ready-to-wear collection also sparked a fashion reminder that the jean jacket never goes out of style. The Frame Denim spring 2016 collection is also effortlessly cool and laid back, and channeled a ’70s vibe.
Mixing classic stand-by fashion items with on-point trends is something I always aim to do. In this look I took the classic polka-dot pattern and jean jacket with trendier clothing items and accessories to make for a unique look.
I decided to pair a bodysuit (in this case a vintage swimsuit) with white boyfriend jeans. I decided to add a jean jacket and a couple of dainty necklaces to my look to make it more modern and more my style. To finish it all off I put on a pair of lace-up sandals. This style of sandal is in every fashion magazine or store window this season. Together, my outfit works wether you’re getting lunch with friends or an impromptu trip to the beach!
