STYLE GURU STYLE: Pitter Patterns

Sadly, summer is coming to an end and it is time to start gradually warming up to the cold weather.

In the Copenhagen spring 2017 Ganni collection, I was inspired by the use of patterns used in all of the outfits. I liked the variety and combination of patterns used to pull together all of the outfits. This stuck out to me and I was challenged to create my own little twist to it.

Ganni inspiration was quickly found in H&M. The high-waisted shorts have a unique and organic pattern that stuck out to me. With the shorts having a more busy pattern to them, I decided to make the top half of my outfit softer. The mock turtleneck top has a softer pattern to it, but is not too overwhelming which I love. On top of that, I am also wearing a white cover-up that keeps me warm on those days you can’t tell if you are too warm or too cold. The cover-up helps me stay comfortable no matter where I go.

To help complement the patterns used in this outfit, I am wearing some earrings that slightly match the shorts. I love these earrings because they can be used for both casual or more dressed up outfits. The ring set and bracelet also give the outfit a little more variety and fun to it, which I love.

Lastly, the sandals I am wearing are from DSW. I absolutely LOVE these shoes. I wear them with almost everything and they are so comfy!

Have a great last couple weeks of summer! I hope this post helped you create comfortably warm outfit as we leave summer and go into the fall season.
