As I take a look at my closet, it is filled with solid colored shirts, a lot of bold patterns that can be mixed and matched with different outfits. I strongly believe your style should give you a chance to express yourself and not hide who you are. Without patterns individuals would look so uniform and boring. Attractive patterns are affordable for all budgets. My wardrobe continues to expand by buying new patterns and accessories that can enhance my look as a Fashionista.
J.Crew fall 2015 ready-to-wear collection inspired me to wear this patterned white and black skirt. The endless detail on this skirt amazes me every time I wear it. It will always be a staple in my closet when I am going somewhere nice. The patterns in this collection are so different but unique in all the right ways. J.Crew is not afraid to think out of the box and mix patterns with something you wouldn’t even consider putting together. I paired the skirt with a tank top giving it a clean finish. I’m wearing big black earrings and multiple gold bracelets to make the outfit pop, which J.Crew specializes in.
Another part of my look is my striking black pumps. They make my legs look longer and give me more height. Browsing through these runway looks, every model is wearing a pair of heels, which gives each look a splash of color wherever they are walking. The sliver sparkly clutch ties the entire outfit together giving it that shine that every outfit needs. The majority of the outfits are paired with clutches. Something that attracts me to this collection is the beautiful patterns on the models. They are flirty, beautiful and easy to wear. The designers put a lot of thought into every single outfit, which I like to see because then I can incorporate my taste to the clothing they are displaying.
