STYLE GURU STYLE: Orange Burst

Chanel captured my attention in its recent spring 2015 couture show. It fully captured the essence of spring. Flowers decorated the runway while bursts of color were donned by the models. It made you feel like you were in the middle of a garden. The models wore many tweed jackets and skirts. Some of the outfits had delicate of artificial floral trims. There were also fringe details seen on some of the outfits.

I was especially inspired by look number one. It was a beautiful orange dress suit. The outfit was accessorized with a hat with black tulle wrapped around it. The look was completed with high, black sock booties. I also noticed the little details of the model’s look starting with bright red lipstick. The neckline had a rope like look that added a different touch to a classic suit. Also the lines on the suit added little fine details. While the flared sleeves with more tulle add some element.

The bright orange suit, I believe, is a beautiful color to wear in the spring season. So today, I chose to wear an orange shift dress. Instead of an orange jacket to go over my dress, I chose a black blazer jacket. I also chose the black jacket since I do not have a hat or tulle to accessorize with. A black hat would go along lovely with this outfit if you have one suitable to wear. I decided not to wear the black socks booties. I chose a pair of black heels to complete the outfit instead.

This spring 2015 show gave me eagerness for spring. The pop of color was just what I needed after a long winter of snow and ice.

Get My Look: 1. Dress. 2. Jacket. 3. Black heels.
