STYLE GURU STYLE: New Year, New You

January 25th, 2016 at 2:00am

It’s a new year so that means we can all start off on a clean plate. We can all erase our minds and free ourselves from any bad hair days and outfit choices we have made in 2015. While the spring 2016 runway shows were in session, the Chloé ready-to-wear runway show was a breath of fresh air with a beautiful, fresh color palette and delicate, intricate designs. Silhouettes were flowing from the beginning to the end of the runway truly creating a refreshing and free-spirited vibe. Blue denim, romantic lace and neutral patterns were the top components to this show.

The color palette felt so fresh and clean, just like how I wanted to kick off this new year. In this look, I wore a delicate off-white lace tank top similar to the romantic lace dresses seen on the runway. I used a classic nude shirt dress and tied a simple bow in the back to get a free-flowing silhouette. I wore a pair of soft black skinny jeans and my favorite tan booties to keep the color palette of my look completely neutral. And, of course, a girl always has to add a little sparkle!

Get My Look: 1. Shirt dress. 2. A white lace tank top. 3. A neutral leather tote.
