STYLE GURU STYLE: Living for Lines

Rachel Zoe is a household name in the fashion industry. This fabulous mother of two is a stylist to the stars and a respected designer. It seems as if everything she puts her name on turns to gold and this resort 2016 collection was no exception. The collection screamed Zoe filled with ’70s-inspired pieces, including flowy wide legged pants, fringe and even fur!

While flipping through the lookbook for this collection, I found myself loving every look! But the one that really drew me in was look 13. I was inspired by the lines of the outfit right off the bat and decided to put my own summer time twist on this in particular look!

I changed the look up a bit making it my own, while not loosing the classic Rachel Zoe vibe. I went for a pair of wide legged stripped silk pants that were found at an H&M in Greece. In look 13, the model is wearing a semi cropped jacket that looked a little too hot for the month of July here in Athens. So I chose to pair my pants with a structured three quarter sleeved top from Forever 21. You couldn’t quite see the model’s shoes in this look, so I stuck true to the ’70s and threw on a pair of white sandals with a platform wooden heel.

As for my hair, I intended on wearing a floppy hat but at last minute, opted to let my hair dry naturally to create a messy and laid back effect. The outfit did not feature any accessories, but to me, no look is complete without sunglasses. For this girl, picking out a pair of perfect sunglasses is always important to finish off any day time look. I decided on a pair of oversized circle glasses that I thought finished off this boho outfit perfectly!

Get My Look: 1. A pair of wide legged pants. 2. Platform sandals. 3. Circle sunglasses.
