STYLE GURU STYLE: Kick It Up

Back to school means one thing in the Fashionista world—fall trends. I am always the last person that wants to see summer come to an end, but even I get excited to start wearing my fall favorites. The trouble with back to school is trying to stay comfortable while you spend all day on campus, hours at the library and still trying to keep up your stylish persona that you are known for by your fellow classmates. One of the best ways to stay comfortable this season is by pairing your best looks with your cutest sneakers like the Alexander Wang spring 2016 ready-to-wear line.

Alexander Wang took grunge and couture and combined them flawlessly in this line. He takes fringe, leather, silk and many more elements to give males and females a comfortable and fun spring collection. To recreate this style, I wore a simple, gray dress that I paired with a cardigan to wear around the waist to have for when it cools down in the evenings or for the cooler classrooms. Simple shirt dresses like these are perfect for campus giving you an easy look to throw together in a short amount of time.

To make this look even more casual for long days hitting the books, wear your best sneakers. As much as I love a good pair of heels or boots, when you walk on a large campus every day, stilettos are not the most practical. But just because you can’t wear pumps or wedges doesn’t mean you can’t look good. The sneaker trend is booming and looks great with just about anything. Play around with your own wardrobe this fall and see what would look good with those old tennis shoes that you love.
