The Givenchy spring 2015 ready-to-wear collection was everything I want to wear forever! The combination of over-the-knee boots, leather and black head-to-toe definitely sent me to edgy girl heaven! As if I already did not want to dress in black everyday, I definitely do now. The Givenchy runway show gave the little black dress a rock gypsy make-over. By incorporating leather over-the-knee boots with flouncy dresses, this ready-to-wear collection can easily fit into any Fashionista’s/o’s closet. Givenchy showed us that it is okay to be bad sometimes!
The Givenchy collection re-inspired me to go for my bad girl look more often. If you were to look into my closet you would see a lot of black and leather! Recreating an outfit inspired by the Givenchy style was no problem because it fits with my style so well. I first picked my favorite motorcycle-inspired leather jacket. When you are wearing one of your favorite pieces you automatically know you will feel comfortable rocking the look! The Givenchy runway showed everything from flouncy dresses and skirts to rompers and pants. Instead of sticking with the super edgy side of the runway style, I chose to mix and match with a fit and flare dress and leather jacket. Combining the feminine dress with a leather jacket and boots is something new for me but it is nice to change up your look sometimes! A fresh idea Givenchy showed us is pairing over-the-knee boots with spring dresses. This gives us Fashionistas/os a new way to wear our favorite winter wear with our light-weight spring looks.
