Shades of gray and black are classic colors that will never go out of style. Mix in a few stripes and a pop of color and you have my favorite go-to outfit.
I have always loved the urban look that consists of relaxed, roomy and slouched clothes, so when I saw the rag & bone resort 2016 ready-to-wear fashion show, I was in love. The line was perfect for a casual day out that turns into a late summer night.
The show consisted of black, gray and white with pops of red. Overall, it was very minimal. Pants were raised well above the ankle and looked perfect for a cool breezy summer day.
Throwing my spin on the runway look I took a black and gray loose shirt and added pops of blue. I was inspired by the casual yet dressy feel of rag & bone’s resort line but needed to add a little more color.
I kept to the main color scheme of black and gray but added blues instead of red to make the outfit more fun and vibrant. The muted colors matched perfectly along with the bright blue hat and denim shorts.
The black and gray striped shirt went perfectly with the vibe of the resort line, and the loose denim shorts kept the outfit casual while the baseball cap made it lively for the summertime. I threw on my favorite sandals and some accessories to complete the look.
