STYLE GURU STYLE: Fur

The recent runway show for fall of 2015 from designer Brunello Cucinelli was stunning. The fur feature mixed with neutral tones on each ensemble, and it made me want to pull out my fur and strut down the runway. The colors were so clean-cut and crisp, and the different textures made the designs captivate my eyes even more. There were all different types of fur from fur collars to fur cross-body bags.  There was even cashmere fur featured in Look one. I was overwhelmed with different silhouettes from slouchy, menswear inspired-pants to tight, midi skirts. Fur can transform an entire outfit to bold and powerful within seconds!

I incorporated the neutral fur trend into what I wore. I have on a relaxed, high-waisted blue jean paired with a see-through lace top, which adds texture, and a fur long-sleeved vest.  My first instinct when I first pieced this outfit together was, “I need some fur.” I usually would go for a black fur, but Cucinelli has proven that furs can come in so many different styles. My favorite part of this outfit is the back of the fur jacket. It had a crochet-like texture which adds originality. My brown booties and belt compliment my ensemble.

This fall 2015 show inspired me to go for originality while mixing in some fur. I mean, who doesn’t look fabulous in fur? I am definitely going to wear as much fur while the weather is still cold.

Get My Look: 1. Lace top. 2. A fabulous fur vest. 3. Brown booties with cutouts.
