STYLE GURU STYLE: Fedora Fanatic

Back to school means flashing our freshly tanned skin and new outfits purchased from our summer travels. For me and other Fashionistas alike, we live for the first day of school fashion. It is our big reveal back to campus after having the summer to travel and find new trends. This fall, designers are focusing on ‘70s style and using lots of flare and funky designs in their fabrics. alice + olivia have majored in this trend for their resort 2016 line. I love the flowy boho style dresses the created and their mix of different fabrics. They mixed cotton and lace for a more dynamic look.

To make this look more wearable I added some accessories and picked a dress with a calm pattern. My dress has a mix of fabrics; a combination of lace and cotton to make it super comfy. Fall fashion to me means accessories on accessories. They are pretty much the key to any outfit! Without rings or a necklace I feel completely naked. Accessories allow you to change up a simple outfit. For a girl on a college budget, I don’t really have the money to spend on a new outfit for every occasion (even though I pretend I do). A new necklace can change the entire vibe of an outfit. Depending on how you’re feeling you can go from boho to preppy with one piece.

One of my favorite trends this season was my fedora. Although it has been around for a while now it gives a little extra something to a boring look. You can pretty much do anything with a fedora. You can wear it to class or on an epic adventure with your girlfriends.

Get My Look: 1. Flowy dress with lace. 2. Fedora. 3. Mid and regular rings.
