STYLE GURU STYLE: Falling Into Fashion

Fall is the season of transformation, cooler weather and richer shades of colors. While class lessons continue to become increasingly difficult, creating timeless outfits becomes far easier. For this months look, I decided to emphasize my personal style, showcasing just how I express myself on an average day of classes.

In Central Florida, the temperature tends to fluctuate, starting with a chilly breeze in the morning, gradually increasing in heat. Sleeveless sweater tops are essential during this time, due to the dual purposes they serve. The classic dark wash jean effortlessly creates a contrast in hues, allowing for a more appealing presentation. Though this outfit could be reproduced even during the summer, the main defining factor are the chestnut colored Chelsea boots, allowing for a more autumn suited look. The Forever 21 shoes not only provide warmth, but also comfort. As a student patrolling across a campus of over 6,032,365 square feet, it’s beyond helpful to have a piece of heaven wrapped around your feet.

Clothing does, in fact, play a huge role in just how you can be perceived, but makeup is another huge contributor. Mac Cosmetics is incredible for creating colors which can be worn for various occasions, may it be attending an economics class or going out on a date. The featured shade, “Antique Velvet” is a matte finish lipstick which lasts for over 12 hours and doesn’t fade. Morphe Cosmetics also has a wide array of products compatible for all skin tones. The 35K Collection is the perfect compliment for just about any look, adding the extra pop of color anyone would crave.

All in all, October is a month which allows for ultimate creativity and innovation, whether it be within the classroom or the walk-in closet. Allowing colors to mesh, and unique cuts to prevail, creates a look that will not only become a classic, but essentially makes any Fashionista shine!
