STYLE GURU STYLE: Embrace The Bralette

It wasn’t long ago when many of us ladies had to wear bralettes, also known as training bras when entering the teen world. Although it may have not been fun to wear back then, it sure is exciting to wear them today.

Amazed by Sonia Rykiel’s spring 2015 ready-to-wear collection, it seems as though bralettes are the new sensation on the runway. The exquisite feminine piece has truly trended over the past season. Who would’ve thought that this hit fashion would have taken us back to our puberty days?

The excruciating part about these pieces is that they could be worn with whatever you want. To add on the bralette, I thought it would be best to add the blazer to set off a sophisticated vibe with a touch of sass.

Adding the blazer to the bralette takes away the professional feel to the blazer. Even though traditionally blazers are worn for more conservative events, it is okay to pull away from the norm and change it up every once and a while, which is the best part about fashion.

As we know, it is summer and this look wouldn’t be anything without the olive woven shorts.  The short in this attire complements the blazer and bralette. Due to the fact that the shorts are woven, it adds on to the classy summer side of this attire.

Tagging along with the upscale side to this look, you could never go wrong with wearing a strap sandal heel. Just like the bralette, these strapped heels have attacked the fashion world by making the trendiest heel over the past year. On behalf of the style that this attire portrays the strap heel is also a classy and simple heel that pretty much matches with whatever your style is. This heel can be incorporated into a grungy outfit to the preppiest outfit of all time.

This outfit would be great for a night out with your girls or even a hot date at your favorite restaurant. Wherever you decided to rock this outfit, you’ll be the spotlight in the room.
