It is so easy to put together an insanely cute outfit with some denim and your favorite pair of booties. A huge factor that comes into play when I am getting dressed in the morning is comfort. I love simple and basic outfits that come together with little to no effort.
My inspiration for today’s look came from Tomas Maier’s resort 2016 collection. This collection features pieces that are simple and comfortable. I definitely agree with Style.com when they say we are all after a bit more ease within our busy lives. Sometimes we don’t have the time to put together an intricately beautiful outfit with multiple pieces, and we just need something quick to throw on in five minutes when we’re running late for work—let’s be real, it happens to the best of us. From breezy lace dresses to motocross jackets and skirts, there was something for everyone on the runway. Like in Tomas Maier’s collection, denim and knits are perennials in my wardrobe. I was most inspired by the athletic denim in look one.
A lot of times runway collections can be very extreme and hard to recreate with affordable, everyday pieces. I channeled this runway look by pairing some baggy denim joggers from PacSun with a Free People crop top to add some color and showcase my figure. I completed my ensemble by pairing it with dainty gold accessories and some nude booties to give myself some height.
My basic joggers are a staple in my wardrobe and can be paired with anything. They are a must-have in anyone’s closet in my opinion!
