STYLE GURU STYLE: Dressed To Kill

I love an all-black ensemble. This year, fall ready-to-wear collections had tons of cute black pieces, from frilly skirts, to leather pants and everything in between. It is hard to pull off all-black in the summer, simply because of the heat and the abundance of bright colored clothing, not to mention the floral print craze. But if you’re a monochromatic kinda gal, don’t worry. This upcoming season is perfect for you. Black, beige and muted solids are the new norm for all of fall collections.

I got this look straight from Narciso Rodriguez’s fall ready-to-wear collection. His collection has a great assortment of pieces that range from classic to edgy. I created his look with a similar black jumpsuit. Like his, mine is leather on top and cloth on the bottom. Because it’s cloth on the bottom, it’s incredibly comfortable and flowy. I added some nude heels because they are my favorite and threw on a pair of sunglasses.

The one accessory I’m so glad I purchased this summer are my aviator sunglasses. They look good with basically everything, and are so in right now. Aviators fit many face shapes, and make you look like your coming just completed a mission on Top Gun. I also added a little bracelet, simply give a little extra sparkle to the outfit.

I feel like all around, this look is great for day to night. All you have to do is remove your sunglasses and your ready to go clubbing. Black is always flattering, and a jumpsuit is an all in one outfit, put that together with some killer heels, and you have a look that always slays.

Get My Look: 1. Black jumpsuit. 2. Your favorite heels. 3. A pair of sunglasses.
