STYLE GURU STYLE: Comfort In Style

We’re all busy people with busy days, and the last thing we need is to stress out about our outfits! When you have a hectic day filled with running around from place to place, your main focus is probably getting things done quickly and efficiently. And so, the more comfortable the clothing, the better. Alas, how can one be comfortable while dressing in the latest trends? Tory Burch style, my friends. Tory Burch. In her 2016 resort collection, Tory Burch has relaxed, loose-fitting pieces that look easy to move in. I was inspired by look one, which pretty much looks like lavish pajamas. I love the pattern on the piece, and knew I could incorporate a fun, yet comfortable item into a busy day outfit.

I took parts from Tory Burch’s collection to create an ideal look for when you’re running around on errands. Whether you’re perusing the grocery store aisles or running into a flower store (both done in this outfit), your clothes shouldn’t be slowing you down. I focused mainly on the patterned, fun pants. While these pants are definitely an eye-catcher, they are unbelievably comfortable. They make the outfit effortlessly cool. As shown in the Tory Burch collection, lightweight, loose-fitting cardigans are perfect for running errands because it is sure to be comfortable and can easily be removed or put back on. For me, that’s when the car is a million degrees and I can’t bear the heat, but then I get into any store blasting AC and am grateful that I have a cardigan! I chose neutral colors because it is not only a theme shown in the resort 2016 collection, but also because it allows the pants to be the main focus. As any busy person is aware, another necessity is a shoe that can last through hours of errands without bringing sore feet. A trusted pair of sandals definitely the way to go! I finished my outfit with a beaded bracelet, silver ring and of course a pair of sunglasses…all super simple and all super comfortable.

Get My Look: 1. A loose cardigan. 2. Floral pants. 3. comfy sandals.
