Runway shows are a great source to utilize if you are in need of a little fashion inspo. Recently in one of my classes we learned all about couture, so I decided to check out some of the couture collections from 2015. One that really stood out to me was Christian Dior’s, particularly the all-white outfits with one bold colored item, such as a shawl. They looked so elegant yet had an edge, and would be perfect for any season.
One article of clothing I love is cardigans. You can find them in all different colors, lengths and styles and they are the perfect way to dress up almost any outfit. Not to mention it is a cute way to keep warm when it gets slightly chilly. I have many brightly colored cardigans in my closet that are perfect for recreating Christian Dior’s look. I chose a blue one because I feel that it stands out the most against my white dress.
I topped off my outfit with a statement necklace and my signatures: my Michael Kors watch, Alex and Ani bangles and a dark shade of lipstick. For shoes, I’m wearing brown booties, which are perfect for the cool fall weather. An outfit like this is perfect for class, a trip to the mall or a lunch date with the girls. It is cute, classy and you can adjust your look to fit the season based on what color or style cardigan you choose to use.
