kate spade new york always had this signature style that involved metallics, adorable prints and most importantly, bright, bold colors. Every year, every season they never fail to live up to the expectation of being this classic mix of bold, classy and adorable and that’s what easily makes Kate Spade one of my favorite designers ever. “Per usual, the collection had an early ’60s feel to it.”
Typically, it’s really simple to recreate the kate spade new york runway because of their consistent collections of solid colors with a few patterns thrown in here and there. So I looked through all of my clothes, picked out the ones that fit the categories of both bright and adorable, and threw them together in lovely ensemble.
I see this look as a more of a Sunday brunch, lunch-out-with-the-girlfriends type of look. What makes the outfit even more appropriate is that the pops of color are perfect for the spring and summer seasons when the heat is picking up and the sun’s out and shining. I love pairing this white, ruffle blouse with my hot pink blazer, and to keep the color-blocking trend going I put on mint-colored shorts. I also took this opportunity to wear my fabulous bright salmon pumps, and topped my outfit off with some golden accessories.
