Just when you think you’ve seen it all, New York decides to throw in a spring-like week in the middle of winter! And what better time to prepare a CollegeFashionista post than when the temperature hits almost 70 degrees. I knew right then and there that it was time to shed the hoodies and pants for a bit and transition into something fresh and feminine.
This time, I wanted to mix comfort with a touch of edge. First, I wanted to have some consistency in the look, which I achieved with the use of the color gray in almost all of the pieces, but then I wanted to add a pop of color, which happened with this flowy orange skirt from Forever 21. I paired that up with my chic sunglasses from ASOS that gave the outfit a cool futuristic vibe. Last but certainly not least I finished the look with these super comfortable Camo Led Sneakers. The funny part was that they were an accidental Christmas gift from my little cousin who ordered them a little too big for her. (#blessed anyone?).
I loved this combination because it’s easy to wear, it provides comfort for a long day on campus, and it’s effortless yet glamorous. I also feel like a change of shoes, such as a pair of sexy heels, and adding a leather jacket, would allow this to be a day-to-night kind of outfit. Now, I personally cannot wait until spring is (officially) here so that I can continue experimenting with different looks, colors, and styles for future looks.
