As summer is starting to come to an end, Fashionista/os must prepare their wardrobes for the fall season. This means darker colors, adding layers and much more!
One fashion show that I was very inspired by was A.P.C. by Jean Touitou’s fall 2015 ready-to-wear collection, specifically look 21. I chose a classy pencil skirt, as many of these just above-the-knee skirts are featured in the collection. Touitou’s collection has many dark and neutral colors, so I made black and beige the central colors of my ensemble. I paired black tights with my outfit to channel Touitou’s Look 21.
I translated the look into my own personal style by adding some accessories. I went with a black and gold chunky statement necklace from Akira to accent the colors of my shirt and skirt. I matched the necklace with pearl earrings. Lastly, I chose black and gold bangle bracelets to stay within the black and beige color scale. Black and gold are a duo that complements black and beige very well.
I decided to dress up the outfit by going with a higher black heel and closed-toe shoe. I pulled back my hair into a low bun to mimic Touitou’s look. By doing this, it also shows off my black shirt and statement necklace.
This ensemble is ideal for going out at night to a trendy club or bar with friends! You can even add a black clutch to carry your belongs in.
