STYLE GURU STYLE: Business Attire

If you’re reading this, just keep in mind as a second semester senior who is graduating in a few months, you are scared for what the real world holds. This time of year is when interviews for internships and jobs are at their highest, with businesses trying to pick the finest people to join their team. We need to review how to dress to impress, when there’s no time to rest. I have come up with this bus(y)ness look that can act as both an interview outfit and a classic look for a busy day in town.

I took this inspiration form the 2016 Altuzarra resort collection and knew I had to share it. I decided to switch up the colors but kept it for the most part very similar to this runway look. The blazer and button down look is so classic and stylish at the same time. I combined both polished with professional along with girly and flirty to create this dazzling outfit.

What I’ve done here is paired my black pants with a white button down shirt from the classy J.Crew. The ruffles add a girly touch and but keep you looking sleek. Blazers are a staple for any interview outfit, showing that you are ready to take on any difficult task that may come your way. I love my her tweed blazer with this outfit because it is professional but still cute. Add neutral booties with a little heel to impress any manager and be runway ready.

These pieces put together have the power to give you the confidence you need right before stepping into an interview. The blazer makes you appear professional, while the ruffled shirt gives you a sleek and girly look. SEA you next time!
