As summer continues to get closer and the weather warms up, we all are eager to get rid of our old wardrobe and bring out the fresh new summer one! My summer wardrobe is always full of bright, fun colors. Adding some fun colors to your wardrobe is just what you need to get ready for the warm summer weather! Besides the colors, my wardrobe for this time of year is always stocked with plenty of dresses…how could you go wrong? It’s a simple, effortless outfit that always looks great! Add a few of your own personal accessories, and you’re ready to rock the perfect summer outfit.
I was inspired by this Valentino ready-to-wear collection. With my look here, I simply paired one of my favorite bright and bold, ’70s-inspired, flowy dresses with some simple black accessories. I chose a ballet flat and flowy dress because this collection is based on dancers and their wardrobes within the theater that was totally inspiring. I also loved the pop of color within the collection, ranging from neutrals to a bold yellow.
My advice would be to grab a few new bright summer dresses to give your wardrobe that refresher that it needs for this season! You can pair your favorite dress with any accessories you love and make the look your own. A dress is great for a simple lunch date, to a night out on the town with some of your best friends! Your dress can be dressed up or down, depending on how you would choose to wear it for your specific occasion. My look I chose to dress up a little and wear to a concert with some of my friends!
