STYLE GURU STYLE: Booties Rockin’ Everywhere

Oh, how I admire the Rebecca Minkoff fall 2015 ready-to-wear collection. The prints and fabrics in each outfit went very well together. I always like the pictures capturing the movement of the fringe and chiffon. One thing that I loved about this collection is how all of the outfits included boots for shoes. Whether it was a dress, skirt, shorts or slacks, the boots went great with the outfit. The outfits in the fall 2015 ready-to-wear collection were my inspiration for this outfit.

I do not think that I have ever loved a pair of boots more than I love the ones that I am wearing in the outfit above. These ankle booties are easy to walk in and are a great staple piece to add to my wardrobe. They make me feel confident and I never want to take them off. Plus, I bought them for only $2.98, so how could I say no? These ankle booties collaborate great with any outfit of any season. Looking at the pictures from the collection helped me decide what looked best with pieces of clothing that I owned.

At first, I bought the boots off season, thinking I would only wear them in the fall. But, I decided to wear them with a pair of shorts one day, and I was in love in every sense. I can already picture myself wearing my ankle booties with a pair of boyfriend jeans and a flannel during the fall time. It is kind of weird to think of my favorite pair of summer shoes as boots.

For the outfit above, I decided to pair the ankle booties with a pair of high-waisted shorts and a handmade tie-dye cropped top. I thought that the boots looked better rather than any other pair of shoes to make a bold statement. Although I was not wearing accessories, my hairstyle had a twist to the common half-up, half-down hair-do.

Get My Look: 1. Any tie-dye crop top. 2. A pair of high-waisted shorts. 3. Ankle booties.
