STYLE GURU STYLE: Boho Baby

Let’s face it; the bohemian style isn’t going anywhere. Why should it? It’s elegant fabric designs; bright colors and stylish prints are great for almost any season. Furthermore, who doesn’t love bell-bottom boho pants. So it is not a surprise that the bohemian style appeared on the runway this year. This is expressed in the pre-fall 2015 Giambattista Valli collection. The designer draws inspiration from late ‘60s early ‘70s era. Overall, the looks have a polished hippy vibe. It is the grown-up vision of the classic bohemian style.

The Bohemian style is mimicked every year by the trendy Fashionistas at Coachella. I have always wanted to go there not just for the music, but to see what the stylish celebs are wearing. I have always been attracted to the bohemian look so the light and airy ensembles that Selena Gomez and Kendall Jenner wore this year gave me so much life. Their outfits had the same polished hippy vibe as the pre-fall 2015 Giambattista Valli collection. This shows how easily the boho look can go from runway to street style.

For my look, the statement piece is a pair of flowy tribal print boho pants. They are definitely an eye-catcher, perfect for sophistication and comfort. I accessorized with a layered beaded turquoise necklace to dress up the look and my fave comfy thifted wedge sandals. Lastly, I could not leave the house without a cardigan, just incase it gets cold outside at night.

Get My Look: 1. Boho Pants. 2. Wedge sandals. 3. Beaded jewelry.
