A lot of things can inspire a good outfit. Whether you get inspiration from a show on television, a magazine or other people, we all get ideas for outfits from different places. When I stumbled upon the David Michael spring 2015 ready-to-wear I was ecstatic. David Michael recently launched in 2012 and his designs are extremely different then your typical designer.
His fashions are simple, yet modern and beautiful. They are chic and bohemian while still being classy. They give off a grunge, comfortable vibe while still looking insanely fashionable. Michael was never formally trained but his clothes give off a coolness, which makes that hard to believe. For so long, clothes have been so tight-fitted that it is a breath of fresh air to see how his clothes hang off the body. They have slouch in all the right places.
So today I went for it. My outfit was inspired from the second outfit in the David Michael collection. I am wearing a long, black dress. This dress is simple and comfortable. On top I threw a loose-fitted, heather gray sweater. Lastly, I am wearing black combat boots. My combat boots are my go-to shoe that I can wear with everything. They are perfect for winter but also look great in the summer.
This outfit is just as comfortable as a pair of sweatpants and your favorite hoodie. That’s why I love this collection and look so much, because it is not your typical look. It is not tight and revealing, but it is a more laid back look. It allows you to look chic while still being extremely comfortable.
