STYLE GURU STYLE: Astonishingly Edgy

The Esteban Cortazar fall 2015 ready-to-wear collection is absolutely stunning. Each look is individually unique, edgy and modern. My favorite part about this collection is that it’s almost entirely black and compiled with fashion risks that inevitably worked on the runway. It’s no wonder that I chose to recreate a part of Cortazar’s super astonishing collection.

The bulk of ensembles in this collection can appeal to anyone with a passion for designer fashion. I love how the pieces in this collection can be easily recreated and can look good on just about any Fashionista. Cortazar captured my attention particularly with the way he was able to make his black on black outfits work. As a Fashionista who wears a lot of black, I was truly able to admire his efforts.

Nearly every outfit displayed can be worn day or night and that is just another reason why this collection really brought something exclusive to the runway. Many pieces of this collection appear loose-fitting and with little design. It’s always great to be able to mix and match tops, bottoms and even dresses and that can be easily done using any of the elements in this collection.

For my recreated look, I choose to wear my all-black jumpsuit with a dark turquoise moto jacket. I was able to take those to pieces and pair them with a pair of matte black pumps. Although, pumps are not essentially a theme in Esteban Cortazar’s fall 2015 collection, I think they were able to express my personal fashion sense. This aside, I added a black quilted handbag with gold chain elements for my accessory piece. To finish my look, I wore wine red lipstick and blue nail polish.

Get My Look: 1. The perfect black jumpsuit. 2. A stylish moto jacket. 3. A fabulous quilted handbag.
