The year 2016 may not have been the best for some of us (it had its ups and downs), but it is finally time to leave it behind us to begin again. As we ring in the new year, it is time to start working on those resolutions we always say we are going to accomplish. This year, I am trying to make some big personal changes. For me, I’m going with the most basic resolution: new year, new me. With this new me comes many new aspects, ranging from hair to diet to wardrobe.
Don’t be surprised if you see me wandering around sporting an all-black ensemble this year. Specifically, this outfit was super fun to put together for the holiday season. Around the holidays, I like to blow people away while still keeping things generally simple. For this look, I was able to find this fabulous mock-neck blouse with intricate embroidery and cut outs on the front. After I bought this shirt, I remembered that I had this unique leather jacket from Italy that would perfectly match the blouse.
To keep things a little bit dark and simple with this look, I put on my favorite deep maroon lipstick from NYX (Copenhagen). Lately I have been absolutely obsessed with buying all kinds of shoes. So for the winter season, I found these super comfy lace-up heels. When it came to accessorizing this look, I felt like there wasn’t too much needed. Not only have I been obsessed with buying shoes, but I am in love with the popular trend of pairing multiple rings together. Because of this, I grabbed a few of my favorite rings out of my jewelry box and threw them on. Now that my new ensemble is complete, I am ready to celebrate the new year.
