STYLE GURU STLE: Boho Bells

The perfect transitional and conversational wardrobe piece you should invest in this summer are some bohemian-inspired, bell-bottomed fancy pants. I just snagged these gems from a Free People sale on Haute Look, and I pretty much haven’t taken them off since.

Dressed for warmer weather now, I paired my bells with a basic white tank top. The pants have a slight corduroy texture, adding to their fall feel; so by pairing them with a ribbed tank in the same fitted silhouette, I kept it neutral yet still not too basic. When temperatures begin to drop again in the fall, or if you pack your bells for a chilly mountain weekend, I suggest sticking with a long sleeve T-shirt or chunky sweater in a neutral color. By pairing this busy print with neutral accents, you enhance the colors throughout the pants without having the different pieces of your outfit competing with one another.

Everyone loves BCGBMAXAZRIA. There is something about the easy, breezy pieces he put out in his spring 2015 ready-to-wear collection that really gave me the courage to embrace the pattern-loving trend.

I love dressing with a bohemian vibe. Relaxed and laid back is always the way to go, which is usually why you’ll find me drooling over Free People’s latest repertoire. In addition to the neutral white tank, I added a statement necklace that played off of some of the colors in the pants and then topped it off with some Knockaround, aviator style frames.

Get My Look: 1. Fancy, patterned bell bottoms. 2. A basic, comfy white tank. 3. A statement necklace. 4. A lace halter bra. 5. Beach Babe salt spray.
