STYLE GURU BIO: Victoria Schule

This past semester as a Style Guru, I learned to open up to new styles and find ways to make my style a little more versatile. I learned that it’s okay to switch it up and step out of your comfort zone. I also had a blast showcasing the diverse styles of many Fashionistas on campus last semester. I decided to come back this semester to learn more from this internship, step out of my comfort zone when it comes to style, and show all of the stylish college students at East Carolina University.

When it comes to my style, I’d say it is fun and chic. I like buying things that are trendy yet different when I go shopping. I always look for things that catch my eye and would make an outfit pop.

It is currently the middle of winter, which means chilly weather, but it also means sweaters, turtlenecks, and coats. My winter essentials this season are over-the-knee boots, faux fur vests, and turtlenecks. Over-the-knee boots are a big essential this season because they can be a statement piece or just simply help complete an outfit. This season, I like how many of the winter styles can be reminiscent of the ’90s. Lately, I catch myself obsessing over anything ’90s and it is definitely starting to reflect in my outfits lately. Another great thing about winter time is that comfy and chic is in. I love being able to layer outfits or wear big oversized sweaters.

I am thrilled to share this learning experience with you guys and I look forward to sharing more RAD styles with you this semester.
