For those of you who are just tuning in I am currently a senior studying Fashion PR and international studies. Originally from Monterrey, Mexico, I moved to a small boarder town in Texas when I was seven. Most of my inspiration has been derived from experiencing the different cultures and adapting to Texan summers. My personal style is constantly evolving, fleeting as my mood. Everlastingly inspired by people, places and red carpet season. My diverse background has shaped my style immensely, as well as my closet. I enjoy thrifting and finding one-of-a-kind pieces to spontaneously combine with modern elements.
This summer will be my third semester as a Style Guru for CollegeFashionista. I am over the moon because I will be covering WHAT TO WEAR, scouting the standout sartorial fashion of Texas State. Being a part of the CollegeFashionista team has been an incredible experience for me in more ways than one. I am currently spending my days as an apartment gardener and experimenting with vegan recipes. Between fashion column-ing and Style Guru-ing my summer will be immersed in seeking entertainment and event planning for students on campus.
You can find me on campus working with the university as an event coordinator for campus activities. I am also the Head Blogger for Texas States fashion group. Another commitment this semester is running an Instagram pop-up shop I opened back in July. I used this mostly as a creative outlet but I also really wanted a way to pass along incredible finds. I have had so much fun running the shop and am thankful for the incredible friendships I have formed. Feel free to add me on all social platforms; I’d love to meet you! Be sure to “style stalk” the immaculate Fashion Mavens that do it best every Thursday.
