Once upon a time, there was a small town girl who dared to dream of a fashion world beyond the displays at the local Wal-Mart and JCPenney. Growing up in a small town had dozens of perks for the girl, but fashion inspiration was never one of them. This girl, who happens to be me, ventured off to college and hasn’t stopped exploring the world of fashion ever since.
Since I stepped into the realm of the “city life,” I have been enthralled with developing my own style. Subsequently, my credit card found the freedom of shopping at malls, boutiques and (of course) Nordstrom, and ever since my sense of personal style has drastically transformed.
As of late, my personal style has been a flirt. Incapable of being tied down or committed to one trend, I’ve been donning them all. Whether it is a beanie and combat boots or velvet and flats, I love trying the latest looks. Now that spring is around the corner, I can’t help but be excited for the trends that follow. I am looking forward to fresh floral prints, soft pastels and strappy heels.
Here is a little bit more about myself. I am a junior studying Public Relations at Gonzaga University. When I am not in class or online shopping, you can find me perusing campus for Fashionistas/os, blogging in the student center or grabbing coffee with a girlfriend. I am a social media addict who can’t help but blog/Instagram/Tweet her life away and share it with the world.
I am privileged to begin my third semester as a Style Guru for CollegeFashionista. In the past I have covered ACCESSORIES REPORT and FASHIONISTA SPOTLIGHT, but this semester I will be reporting on WHAT TO WEAR. From heading to class, to coffee or catching dinner with your friends, I will be documenting and sharing my favorite looks for any and every event on campus. Stay tuned for my Thursday posts!
