STYLE GURU BIO: Taylor Harbison

Hi, my fellow fashion enthusiasts! My name is Taylor Harbison and I am beyond blessed to be writing for CollegeFashionista this fall. I was born in the Carolinas and I must say there is nothing finer than girls from North Carolina. Living in the Carolinas, you get the best of both worlds: tea that’s always sweet; accents with a little deep, Southern twang and, depending on where you are, some city lights.

I am now entering into my junior year at Western Carolina University. I’m currently studying Entrepreneurship and Journalism, as well as dabbling in a little bit of Public Relations. Just from my studies, you can probably guess that I am into many things. I like to think I’m the same way when it comes to fashion. I switch up my style in a way that, one day, I may be Whitley Gilbert and, the next, I might just be channeling my inner, free spirited Denise Huxtable. Fashion for me has always been a way of expression. At one time or another when we young, we all played dress up. While I was growing up, I’d go into my mama’s closet and come out a different person at least three times a day. I think it’s the little girl inside of me, who just can’t get enough of playing dress up, that’s obsessed with fashion.

This will be my first semester writing for CollegeFashionista, and I am so excited to be apart of the Style Guru team. This fall, I will be showcasing Fashionistas/os who catch my eye here in the little city of Cullowhee, NC, and who bring their own sense of flair and big city living to our college town.

Get My Look: 1. Button-down. 2. Jeans. 3. Heels. 4. Necklace.
