Howdy all you Fashionistas/os. I’m Sneha Bhatnagar, a Communication Design student from National Institute of Fashion Technology (India) and this fall I’m going to bring to you some ravishing, interesting and attainable trends on campus. When I think about my seasonal fetish, summer did great justice to my style wish-list. I hogged some crazy sale offers with my favorite brands; block heels substituted for my wedges; cropped tops, rompers, day dresses, sheer fabrics, cufflinks and of course hot shorts added to the overall gusto.
The monsoon season is in full-swing in Mumbai (India); wet puddles, dampening clothes, selective choices and of course restricted footwear! Yet it’s hard to not love the weather! I believe that I am amongst those fashion enthusiasts whose daily routines include bits of news about beauty, fashion and more fashion. The day is rather too dull if I haven’t browsed through Style.com and my favorite boards on Pinterest. It’s all very inspiring at the end of the day.
Fall’s here and as the fashion seasons clash there is a lot to look out for. Specifically, jazz for hair-locks with twist-outs, messy braids and color chalking. My current obsession with designers includes the creations of Maison Martin Margiela. I completely dug his line for the fall 2013 Couture Week in Paris. The concepts of recycling and restoration are very useful and they spell out “transformation” indirectly.
With an obsession for designer wear, I cannot forget to introduce to you a very important aspect of my wardrobe: Prints. The pictorial representation of this Aztec iPhone case suggests why I just cannot do without them. I also love textures. The uneven wood surface texture on my round toed block heels are one of my favorite picks for this fall.
I am thoroughly excited about my time ahead with CollegeFashionista as I write for the ACCESSORIES REPORT section. With style comes personality and with accessories comes zest!
