Hi there! My name is Shannon and I am currently in my second year at the Fashion Institute of Technology. I’m majoring in advertising, marketing, and communications with an interest in public relations and social media. Not only do I love fashion, but I also love reading, music, and photography.
Living in the heart of New York City is a dream come true for a lover of fashion. I am constantly surrounded by new trends and styles just by walking from street to street. Besides getting inspiration from the streets, I love looking through fashion magazines and going on social media. You never know where an idea for a new outfit will hit you!
When it comes to my personal style, I wouldn’t say I have one set style—I guess you could call me a fashion chameleon! I believe part of the fun and beauty of fashion comes from getting inspiration and throwing outfits together that you would never have thought to put together. From boho to edgy, I love to change up my style day to day.
A typical go-to outfit for me is very similar to the one pictured above. A chunky sweater and boyfriend jeans are super simple but can be dressed up or down with what you choose to pair with it. I chose to throw on a leather jacket and some gray ankle booties. Then for the finishing touches, I added a silver choker, simple black crossbody, and a bold lip color.
