Hi Friends! My name is Sam, otherwise known as Queen Sammy B. Currently, I am a senior at the University of Colorado at Boulder and I am studying Biochemistry and minoring in Business. You may be scratching your head a little when I say that, but hey, a girl loves all things fashion and beauty.
I decided to apply for CollegeFashionista because I wanted to learn the tricks of the trade. Since I don’t really know what I want to do yet, I have been trying just about everything! I enjoy challenging myself and learning about new things.
I was born in Southern California, but I was raised in one of the most beautiful places in the United States and it is very interesting to see how different styles combine with each other. With about 300 days of sunshine in Colorado each year, there are plenty of days for the good vibes (and style) to continue on for most of the year!
As for my style…well, I get my inspiration from all types of things: magazines, Pinterest, and my most favorite—the Fashionistas/os of Instagram. My style is very feminine and boho. I have always gone for a more effortless and beach look. I am a huge believer of Free People, Converse and anything lace. For the most part I like to go with the flow, but here and there, I enjoy my moment to shine.
I am known as two things: the girl who wears her Converse with everything and the girl who likes to shop on a budget. I live for the coupons and the savings, but also want to make sure I look super cute and trendy at all times. I believe that there is nothing that a pair of white Converse All-Stars can’t fix.
I am stoked to share with you my ideas on what to wear for every occasion. Even if that occasion be chilling with Netflix and some of your closest friends! I can’t wait for you all to style on with me and the rest of Boulder, Colorado!
All you need to create this look are: the perfect open-back dress, knee-hight socks, a very cute kimono, and some edgy boots.
