STYLE GURU BIO: Sahana Holla

September 4th, 2015 at 2:10am

Hello fellow Fashionistas/os! Welcome to a brand new semester, and I am very pleased to say that I am continuing my position as a Style Guru here at CollegeFashionista to help all you fellow guys and gals take on the fall 2015 semester with style. There are so many brand new tips and tricks that I have learned throughout the previous season, and there are so many pieces of advice that are yet to show up on this blog, so stay tuned.

As routine with a STYLE GURU BIO, it is important that I tell you a bit about myself and what has changed over these past couple of months. As of late, I am now a second-year Finance major at Fordham University at the Gabelli School of Business. There are so many things I am looking forward to as I am now into the full swing of the whole “college” business. I am no longer residing in my hometown of San Francisco, California and I am currently on the plane returning to New York as I am writing this post. As for fashion, my interests have pretty much remained the same, sticking to my classic addiction to ankle booties and bold statement pieces. I have also fallen in love with the versatility of basic pieces, such as a regular V-neck T-shirt or a plain, cotton tank top

Right now, there are so many things to look forward to as the new school year is upon us. Although this means a whole bunch of stress is on the forefront, this also means that there are so many lifelong memories to be made and meaningful relationships to be formed. I am so eager to get my year started and fully enjoy this one, because if there is one thing I have really come to terms with over the past few months, it is that life is too short to not enjoy yourself.

For these past few months, all I could dream about was to be back on Fifth Avenue. One of the main things that I am eager to witness is how other New Yorkers transition their summer pieces into the fall season and incorporate knits and dark colors into their streetstyle. Most importantly, I cannot wait to share with you the variety of looks that I will witness when I get back to the Big Apple. Stay tuned, and I will see you all soon! Stay #RAD.
