Hello my fellow fashion junkies! I’m so excited to kick off another semester as a Style Guru! For you Fashionistas/os who do not know, I’m Sabrina from Ole Miss. I’m a senior Integrated Marketing Communications major at the university. I have focused my degree towards working in editorial for a magazine. I recently got my first big break in New York as an intern at Good Housekeeping magazine. I love anything trendy: fashion, decor or beauty.
If you’ve noticed, yes, my hair is different. I’m embracing my natural beauty, and I’ve been committed to not wearing hair extensions for about a month. I’m loving the fro. I think it makes a powerful statement, and it fits my round face perfectly.
My style hasn’t changed much. (As you can see, I still love these leather wedges by Chinese Laundry.) I still love anything that looks good and can zip. But seriously, this semester you will catch me in my favorite Nike sneakers and GAP boyfriend jeans. On regular school day, yoga leggings and collegiate T-shirts are usually on the menu. On a girl’s night out, I like to pull out my Jessica Simpson pumps and a body con skirt. For drinks or dinner, boyfriend jeans and a fitted top always do the trick.
This semester will be filled with the amazing style I spot around the city of Oxford, the campus of the University of Mississippi and whatever I decide to pull out of my wardrobe to share with you all. Continue to follow this amazing site and my fashion diary every month on the 15th!
