Hey there, fellow Fashionista/os. My name is Rylee Lappin and I am a sophomore at Appalachian State University, located in The Blue Ridge Mountains of Boone, North Carolina. I will be majoring in apparel design and merchandising with a minor in marketing. I am one of four sisters (yes, four daughters…my poor father,) so life has always been pretty interesting around our house. With a mom as a hairstylist, fashion and beauty have always been in my blood.
You could say my style is all over the place. I love to make different looks with my outfits and always try new upcoming trends. My favorite style to wear is the 90’s grunge. I love wearing high-waisted pants and flannels. I achieve this look by going thrifting to find clothing items, then, adding my own touch to them. Moving to North Carolina from Ohio was a big decision for me. One big difference I notice was the style trends. Some of the most popular styles on campus are oversized T-shirts, Chacos and Turtle Toes! You will definitely find me on campus rocking these Appalachian State University trends! My campus is a place where I feel people can really express themselves and I hope you get to see that through my posts.
