Hey Fashionistas/os! My name is Riley, and I am a sophomore at the College of Charleston where I am studying hospitality and tourism management with a minor in entrepreneurship.  I have often thought about minoring in studio art considering my long standing love for photography.  Since this is my first semester as a Style Guru intern, I cannot wait to mingle around my campus and photograph some amazing Fashionistas.
After I graduate, I plan to work in the event planning industry, where I will build my name and salary so that I can eventually open up my own boutique. Â This has been a dream of mine for the last three years, and I cannot wait to watch my dreams and aspirations bloom in the following years.
My interest in fashion started when I was young. Â You could always find me rummaging through my closet as well as my mom’s, to find something to play dress up with. Â I believe in expressing yourself to the best of your abilities, and I guess playing dress up was where I really began expressing myself.
If you know me, you know that I care a lot about what I wear when I step out of the house. Â Whether I am walking to go get ice cream, going to class or going out for a night on the town, I have thought clearly about what I am putting on my body. Â When it comes to going to class, I love wearing sundresses, boyfriend jeans and loose shirts, which are my definition of comfort. Â And also you will never catch me without my sunglasses or my watch, which are my two favorite accessories.
I am so excited to be working as a Style Guru intern this fall, and I cannot wait to see what new opportunities will be brought my way.
