STYLE GURU BIO: Raychel Leonardo

Hey y’all! I’m Raychel and I’m a sunshine-loving Florida girl. I’m a student at the University of North Florida majoring in business. I’m passionate about spreading the message of self-love, positivity, and confidence to everyone I have the privilege of encountering and looking fashionable while doing it.

Fashion has always been my creative outlet and a special way to express myself. People would always ask why I always dressed up or always “looked so cute.” I would always answer, “When you look good, you feel good,” or “Treat yourself like a 10, you become a 10.” Although I still lightly believe in the aforementioned statements, I realized that feeling good isn’t just about looking good and life isn’t about becoming a 10. Feeling good comes from self-worth, self-love, and self-confidence that is brewed from within. When you are kind and positive your beauty will exude no matter what you are wearing, it just helps if you’re rocking your favorite outfit.

I would describe my personal style as edgy and minimalist. I tend to lean towards neutral colors and neutral patterns when picking out my wardrobe. For my bio, I decided to showcase one of my favorite outfits that can be worn almost anywhere during a Florida winter. Black ripped jeans have become a must-have piece in everyone’s closet recently and with good reason. They are versatile and easy to dress up or down, just like turtlenecks. I decided to pair up a nude turtleneck with my favorite gold necklaces to add a little dimension. I’m a short girl, so if I’m not at the gym then I am probably in heels, especially heeled booties. The brown heeled booties in the above picture are my absolute favorite pair (and also happen to be my tallest pair). This is an easy and simple outfit to put together that complements all shapes and sizes and will look great no matter the occasion.

I am very excited to be a part of this amazing community of Fashionistas and looking forward to learning from all of you. Sending positive vibes your way and thank you so much for reading my bio.
