Hey Fashionistas! Is everyone ready for this semester? I know I am!

I can already tell this semester is going to be filled with great fall style, hard work and a lot of fun.

This is my fourth semester with CollegeFashionista and I am so happy to be a part of this internship. Every semester I get more and more excited about getting the opportunity to learn about my personal style and the style that circles this beautiful world.

I have been anticipating fall fashion so much recently because it has been way too hot for my liking! Who is ready to break out the scarves, hats and vests?

This semester I plan to experiment with my style but still stay true to who I am. I love neutral colors, my fringe booties (which I just recently purchased in black too) and statement accessories. However, I would like to try more mixing and matching with denims, dressing down outfits that I would normally dress up and branching out from my neutrals.

For this post, I am wearing one of my newest skirts which has definitely become top ten of my favorite pieces in my wardrobe. It is a rose colored knot skirt that I got on sale at Charlotte Russe. I still regret not picking up a second skirt while I was there. I paired it with a shirt that is a go-to summer blouse for me because it flows nicely and pairs with almost any type of bottom. I held off on the accessories because I thought that the outfit had a lot going on already. The ruffled top and the knot in the skirt speak for themselves and don’t need more accessories.

The shoes are a purchase I also made this summer and a great one at that. I love them mostly because they transition nicely to fall being that they are a bootie. However, they have a summery vibe when it comes to the peep-toe. My bag is an older piece from my collection but definitely a favorite. It is the perfect bag to finish out summer and start up fall.

I decided to curl my hair with my straightener: a technique I will forever be grateful that I have. I kept my makeup simple by doing a pop of color on the lip but natural face and eyes. I went out for date night in this outfit but it is definitely something I would wear in the daytime as well.

Let’s have a rad semester, everyone! I can’t wait to see some fall fashion from my fellow Fashionistas and readers.
