Hi everyone! My name is Paige and I am a Style Guru from Chesapeake Beach, Maryland. I am 20 years old and I study business communication at Stevenson University. Beauty and fashion have always been two of my biggest passions. Why? I believe that if you look good, you feel good and if you feel good, you do good.
I don’t really define my style with any single adjective. I figured that out in an interview with a manager at Nordstrom. She asked, “How would you describe your style?” I sort of blanked. I think being limited to only one type of style or aesthetic is boring. One day I’ll be so into neutrals and the next I could be rocking floral pants, and that’s the beauty of it all. I love being able to choose different looks everyday.
On this particular day, I was doing a shoot with my good friend Rachel. She is an awesome photographer. It was freezing outside, but I am fine with being cold for good pictures. I am wearing this woven black sweater from Express paired with an adorable pair of Hudson Jeans with a black lining inside the ripped hole. I thought a simple, white lace bralette would be cute under the sweater. To complete my look, I chose my go-to black suede booties from Urban Outfitters. To accessorize, I kept it very simple but chic with this red velvet choker from Windsor.
I love to inspire others with my looks and I hope to do that through this internship. I want to encourage others to dress how they want to. I want to let people know they don’t have to “define” their style. When you dress yourself in the clothes and accessories that make you happy, you become more confident in your style which is one of the best feelings in the world.
