STYLE GURU BIO: Nicole Ramee

September 3rd, 2015 at 2:00am

Hello, I wanted to introduce myself to all of the Fashionistas currently reading this! My name is Nicole Ramee. I reside in this quaint town in New Jersey—Lambertville to be exact. Right now, I am working on a Bachelor’s in International Fashion Marketing at The Fashion Institute of Technology with a minor in Economics.  This is my first time writing for CollegeFashionista and I am thrilled to be writing this fall! Since my short time at FIT, I have been able to be a part of some amazing things like, New York Fashion Week 2015, member of FIT PRSSA and worked  Sonja Morgan’s spring Fashion Show, in which I helped launch her fashion  line.

I have always been drawn to all things leather, black and skulls. If I could go back in time I would love to live in the eras of the ‘20s through the ‘50s. When I see movies in these eras I try to take what they are wearing and expand it in my closet. My favorite item in my closet is my leather blazer, which goes with every outfit. My favorite accessory is my chunky silver statement necklace and my Fossil turquoise face  rose-gold watch. Black can be worn every season not just in fall and winter. Some people think that during the spring and summer, you have to wear certain colors. I like to stand out and be the one in the room wearing leather shorts and a black crop top in 90 degree weather.

My goal after school is to indulge myself in the high fashion world. Chanel is a company that I want to do marketing for. I love everything that Chanel stands for, like the elegance and classic image that it portrays.  I also would love to travel and experience the opportunities of other fashion industries. Whatever opportunities that I am given through the fashion industries, I want to leave my mark and by that, I mean my artistic creativity.

I am so excited to begin my journey as a Style Guru and keep you all updated on some amazing fall trends at The Fashion Institute of Technology!
