STYLE GURU BIO: Nicole Farese

Hey Fashionistas/os! My name is Nicole Farese and I am a junior at the University of Delaware. I am a Fashion Merchandising major, minoring in both Business Administration and Advertising. This is my second semester as a Style Guru intern writing for CollegeFashionista. I wrote for CollegeFashionista as a summer 2015 Style Guru, and I cannot wait to feature some of fall’s most fashionable UD students in my articles!

Fashion has always been an interest of mine ever since I was a little girl. I absolutely love shopping and giving fashion advice to all of my friends. I also love helping people figure out what their own individual style is.

Some of my favorite stores range from Bloomingdales and Nordstrom, to PacSun, Tilly’s and Urban Outfitters. The best style advice I could give is to pair high end designer pieces with cost efficient items; this way you can get a great outfit without spending crazy amounts of money. My most worn outfits consist of pieces I have gotten off of the sale rack paired with designer garments that I can wear almost every day.

My own personal look is very versatile. I own clothing from all different styles ranging from boho to grunge and preppy. If you couldn’t tell from my outfit shown here, I am a big fan of simple, all-black ensembles. My fall go-to outfit consists of leggings with warm sweaters and over-the-knee boots. I also love boyfriend jeans paired with booties and parka jackets, and can’t wait to rock all of these trends this fall. I’m all about keeping my style trendy but comfortable at the same time, hence why I love leggings and loose fitted jeans!

I personally love to take chances when it comes to my wardrobe, so my goal this semester is to take even more fashion risks and become inspired by the Fashionista’s I portray in my articles. I am so excited to share my fall fashion advice with you all, so be sure to check out my posts every month to see what’s new on my campus!
