STYLE GURU BIO: Natalie Loudenslager

Good day my fellow style loving, fierce, Fashionistas/os. Natalie here again for my third semester as a Style Guru for CollegeFashionista, and I am so excited! I am a junior fashion merchandising and design major at a small liberal arts school in Reading, Pennsylvania named, Albright College.

Ever since I was young I knew that I wanted to eventually pursue a career in the fashion industry. From the time of stealing clothes out of my sisters’ closets and adding them to my wardrobe people have always said, “Wow I could never put something like that together”. That’s my biggest compliment. Since I am getting older now and coming to a close end to my college career, the question of, “So what do you want to do after school” keeps arising. Although I still am not positive, I have long-term dreams of being a stylist, or maybe even an interior decorator. CollegeFashionista is perfect for me because I get to seek creative Fashionista/os like you and get to know your style.

In my free time I love to binge-watch Netflix, I mean, who doesn’t? I enjoy working out and spending a lot of time outside reading and practicing yoga. I’d love to spend my life traveling the world and learning about cultures that intrigue me, they’re my biggest inspiration.

Now onto this rainy-day outfit. I’m a huge fan of layering so of course I am wearing my Urban Outfitters T-shirt dress, a faux-leather jacket, a beautiful pashmina from India that I got as a gift, and a slouchy beanie from a local boutique. I love these knee-high socks also from Urban Outfitters, and my new Hunter Boot Rain Boots. I totally feel like I can conquer the world, or any puddle, in these boots. Oh, and how great is this vintage Dooney & Bourke purse that my friend got me from a local consignment shop? The colors are great and go with anything.

I’m excited for this semester as being a Style Guru again, I hope you follow my journey along and enjoy! Stay beautiful, Fashionistas/os.
