STYLE GURU BIO: Morgan Williams

Hey guys! My name is Morgan Williams, and I’m a sophomore/junior majoring in Fashion Merchandising and minoring in Public Relations at the University of South Carolina. I’m in my second year of college, but thanks to dual enrollment in high school I have enough hours to be considered a junior. That being said, I like to say I’m a junior. I’m an old soul so it makes me feel better to think of myself as older. This is my second semester as a Style Guru for CollegeFashionista. I’m so happy they brought me back for another semester. Writing for CollegeFashionista is so much fun and has allowed me to appreciate fashion even more and be creative with writing and photography.

Fashion and style are all about personal preference and what best expresses who you are. College is where you really begin figuring out whom you are and what really makes you happy. Don’t be afraid to step outside of your comfort zone and try something new.

This fall I’m living it up in the City of Dreams; also known as Columbia, South Carolina. Where the “City of Dreams” came from, I do not know, it just makes Columbia sound like an amazing city. My time this semester will be spent in class, writing for CollegeFashionista, working for Vestique, making memories with my friends and going to football games; that’s life in the South during the fall.

I like to think that I relate in some way with a lot of different people and I also tend to dress in different styles. My style in this article is high-waisted shorts, a tank top and a denim button-down used as an accessory. I dressed it up with a pair of booties and jewelry. My most consistent style is boho, but so many factors go into determining how I’m going to dress for the day; Like the weather in Columbia and the fact that I have to walk about five miles a day on campus. Whichever route I take, though, it’s always a mirror into who I am as person.

I can’t wait to take on this semester! Check back at the first of every month for my posts!
