Greetings fellow Fashionistas and Fashionistos! My name is Morgan Scheving, and I am studying Fashion and Merchandising and Broadcasting and the Cinematic Arts at Central Michigan University. This is my fourth semester as a Style Guru here with CollegeFashionista! I am thankful for this amazing opportunity and the learning experience I have been able to receive with interning for CollegeFashionista.
Being the baby in the family, I have always had to find a way to differentiate myself from being only known as someone’s little sister. Fashion has made this possible for me to create my own identity label, you could say. Having a unique style separated me from not only being seen as the youngest one but as the youngest one with good taste!
On a more serious note, fashion to me is a way of expressing oneself each day as you wake up and put a different ensemble together. Ever since I was a little girl I have always been intrigued by the details that go into a garment on a tall and beautiful model and the way that an outfit can make someone look or give them the confidence to act a certain way. I have always been fascinated with fashion and the way it can make you feel.
