STYLE GURU BIO: Morgan McAnally

Hello Fashionista/os! My name is Morgan McAnally and I am beyond excited for you guys to follow me on this adventure here on College Fashionista! My journey so far has opened up so many doors and opportunities and I cannot wait to see what comes next. This fall I hope to inspire your wardrobe with some rad fall trends featured by some rad college students. But, before we start getting into some trends that I am obsessing over currently I want to introduce myself and give you guys some background on my journey pre-CollegeFashionista.

I am currently a junior at the University of North Texas in Denton, TX. I am double majoring in fashion merchandising and digital retailing with a minor in business foundations. Before attending the University of North Texas I attended Community College and got my Associates Degree. Going through Community College my first two years prior to graduating high school was definitely a struggle for me at first. All my close friends went off to huge University’s while I stayed at home to really focus on my studies. Although it was a tough first two years, I wouldn’t trade it for the world. There, I met my best friend and roommate and learned so much about myself that I never knew existed. I am now in three organizations at the University of North Texas and plan on furthering my leadership in each.

Now on to the style part of this introduction. Some trends that I am really looking forward to this fall is lots of satin and velvet topped off with statement chokers! My style has always been all over the place through the years. Sometimes I’ll be feeling a little edgy one day and throw on a leather moto jacket and some Doc Martens and other days I’ll feel like I want to look very sophisticated and classy and throw on a little black dress (who doesn’t love a good LBD?) and heels. There have been so many occasions where my boyfriend will say to me “What is your style? I see you wear something different every single day!” And then I’ll say, “I don’t have a specific one, because I look great in every style!” Totally kidding, but I really just follow what my mood is that day and I rock whatever style that maybe with confidence. Confidence is the best asset anyone can wear in my opinion, and that is why I am so excited to share the confidence I find with student around my school here at CollegeFashionista!

I hope you guys enjoy this journey with me this semester and find inspiration for yourself when it comes to your personal style!
