Ciao! My name is Molly, and I am a junior at Elon University. I am majoring in Strategic Communications and am currently studying abroad in Florence, Italy! I absolutely cannot wait to write for CollegeFashionista for the first time this fall.
Fashion has always been a passion of mine, and that passion came especially to the forefront when I started working in a boutique my senior year of high school. Now every time I go anywhere, I find myself drawn all of the fashionable people I encounter.
If I had to pinpoint my style, I would consider myself to be ever changing. If I see someone walking down the street in an amazing outfit and rocking it, who’s to say that I may not copy their trend? I am always willing to try new things and am incredibly versatile. One day, I will wear feminine florals with lace accents, and the next day I will wear ripped boyfriend jeans and tasseled black booties. It really depends on my mood and what makes me feel comfortable in my own skin that day.
Some of my favorite brands include Madewell, Club Monaco, Urban Outfitters and TOBI. In addition to those larger companies, I am forever shopping at the boutiques in either my hometown of New Canaan, CT or in Elon, NC where I attend school. There is absolutely nothing better than walking into a little shop and finding some unique gems.
In this look I am wearing a simple off the shoulder Forever 21 romper, paired with a Gap denim vest, Sam Edelman booties and simple gold jewelry. By pairing the feminine romper with the grunge-chic vest and booties, I felt myself radiating confidence.
